Who I am

Photography has always been about more than just images for me—it’s about preserving moments that matter. Whether it’s the connection between family members, the personality of a beloved pet, or a quiet, genuine expression, my goal is to create photographs that feel natural, honest, and timeless.

I’m Luke, a portrait photographer based in Sunset Beach, North Carolina, serving the coastal areas of North and South Carolina, including Myrtle Beach and surrounding communities. I specialize in portrait photography for individuals, couples, families, and pets, creating images that reflect who you are in a way that feels real and meaningful. My approach is relaxed and personal. I don’t believe in stiff poses or forced moments—instead, I focus on creating an environment where you can feel comfortable being yourself. That’s where the best photographs happen.

My journey into photography began while serving as a U.S. Air Force veteran, where I developed a deep appreciation for aviation photography and the discipline required to capture precise, meaningful moments. That experience shaped the way I approach photography today—with patience, attention to detail, and a commitment to doing things the right way. Over time, my passion expanded beyond aircraft and landscapes to include portrait photography, where I found the greatest fulfillment in capturing people and the moments that define their lives.

Every session is approached with care and intention, from planning and location selection to the final edited images. My goal is to provide not just photographs, but an experience that feels comfortable, professional, and rewarding.
